Advanced Medica, I'll bet! And WHY would they remove part of a PANCREAS?!! The "research" seems to be aimless!
No wonder they have her on such a restricted diet. But unless it's a very special cat food, MOST catfood out there contains corn which is converted to sugar in the body.
So Mittens is "MK-9"s replacement. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
If Hyacinth discusses this with Miss Diamond, AnnaMarie and Miyuki, it could trigger memories.
Something tells me we are coming to a major plot turn.

Questioning the kitten without scaring her, sounding ever so innocent and finding out where she lives...though if I were Hyacinth, I wouldn't go to Diamond, I'd go to her sister, who tends to take very fast, very direct action.
