Zane: "I just don't get why the garlic butter didn't work!"
Quinn: "Have you thought of oil instead?"
Zane: *Drops turtle* Quinn?!" *Turns chair around*


Zane: "Quinn! You're back!!!"
Quinn: "Hey, Monkey-boy."
Zane: "Pick me up!!"
Quinn: *Picks up his little brother*


Quinn: "Holy heck! When did you get so heavy?"
Zane: "I am not!"
Quinn: "Ow! The hair!! Watch the hair!"
Zane: "Well, maybe if it wasn't so long, I wouldn't pull it."


Quinn: *Settles in on the couch, Zane in his lap* "Now... what's this I hear about your using a grappling hook to climb to the mailbox?"
Zane: "Um... it was for science, Quinn!"
Quinn: "It was? Really?"


Zane: "Yes! Because... um... I needed to test just how fast a letter would get from here to the North Pole, you see. To see if this whole idea of Santa is even plausible."
Quinn: "Uh huh..."
Zane: "... and it was really high up, so I had to get there somehow, now didn't I?"
Quinn: *Chuckles* "Yeah, sure thing, Little Man."


Quinn: *Hugs Zane tight* "You know I worry about you when you do stuff like that. You could fall and get really hunt, Zane."
Zane: "I know. I'm sorry, I just didn't think, I guess. Hey Quinn? You aren't gonna leave again for awhile, are you?"
Quinn: *Squeezes Zane tighter* "No, I won't, I promise."
Zane: "Ok, good. I miss you when you leave."


Quinn: "I missed you too, Monkey. Oh, hey! I have something here for you!" *Reaches behind the couch*

Quinn: *Pulls out a pink alien stuffie and hands it to Zane, watching his eyes light up*
Zane: "Oooh! It's a girl alien!"
Quinn: "If you say so."


Zane: "I do! Because she's PINK! I'mma set her here."
Quinn: "Ok, just stop the wiggling." *Looks back behind the couch again*


Quinn: "Oh, hey, there's something else back here for you too." *Reaches back again*


Quinn: *Pulls out two large alien plushes and dangles them in front of Zane*
Zane: *Eyes go huge* "Wooooow! They're as big as me!"
Quinn: "I don't think they're quite that big."
Zane: "They are! They are! I wanna see. Can I stand up?"


Quinn: "OK, but only for a minute. You know what to do."
Zane: "I know." *Scoots carefully off Quinn's lap, bracing himself against Quinn's thigh while his big brother supported all his weight with his arm*
Quinn: "See, not quite as big as you are, Monkey boy. But close, I guess."
Zane: "Yup! They're awesome!"


Quinn: *Picks Zane up and sets him in his lap again* "OK, that's enough standing for you, dude. So, you know the nice lady I was staying with? Kiki? Seiki's mom? She sent those for you. And I am going to be sending this for her to see, so what do you say?"
Zane: *Waves* "Thank you, Miss Kiki, Seiki's mom lady!"
Quinn: "Thanks for making him so happy, Kiki. And for the visit. And Zircon, thanks for helping me get home."
Zane: "Zircon? She made my awesome lab coat. It's awesome!"
Quinn: "Yes, little man, it is."

Just saying over here too - It's great to see Quinn home with his little brother!! And Girl Alien!! LOLS!

This is so cute... Too much cute, my teeth are falling out.

LOL. For all his "I look like a bad-@$$ Rock Star"-ness, Quinn's actually a sweet, darling little softie. Especially where Zane is concerned.

These two are so cute.

And girl aliens! I love it.

This whole Santa thing does need some rigorous scientific testing. I'm glad someone is on it.

The lab coat is awesome. If I can pull off this contest entry, I think Zane will recognize some of the clothes (they did come from your place) and there will be two people in lab coats (but since I just have one coat, they share).
