It's the ONLY way I can afford anything for them. Don't forget the little consignment shops that have knick knacks and bric-a-brac AND your local antique shops and flea markets. I also have a few things of my great-grandmothers that I use, old antique bottles, like a Ball and Claw Bitters bottle (among a set of six). Some friends of mine send me little things now and then that they find for less than $1.00. lol! Um, dollar stores, jewelry stores sometimes have things, craft shops have a lot of things that I want but am still thinking about (like furniture). Doilies make great throws for furniture and rugs. That's rabbit fur on the floor that I got at Hobby Lobby. Erasers for food, little bottles I found at a party shop, wedding sections at craft stores have neat things that can be used.
Uh, yeah, so I kinda obsess about this. Knowing my luck, I won't end up hording cats, but hording dolls and doll props when I get old and have blue hair. *sigh* My boys will toss me in a home if I'm not careful.
