Sunday was a beautiful Indian Summer Day on the Mendocino Coast.

Katja went for a walk in the woods near the river.

Big trees! Where to start?

It's very beautiful in the woods after the last rain.

Downed trees, ferns and oxalis.

The oxalis is a nice soft place to relax in.

The wood is all covered with green moss.

A mossy nook in a gnarly tree makes a cozy place to sit.

Taking a break in the sun.

That blue through the trees is the river.

Time to go exploring.

The path goes through horsetail ferns.

Finally she comes out on the gravely shore of the river.

A nice place to sit and look.

Wow! Such beautiful photos!! Perfect scenery, and I ADORE her sweater!! It's so pretty!!

I really get the impression that she's meandering and exploring those woods through her expressions! Great work!

She's absolutely beautiful~~ So is the scenery! And I love her sweater and shoes.

Beautiful pictures! It really looks like she's just enjoying a beautiful day. Also reminds me I need to get on making some cold weather clothes for my girl. That's a great sweater!
