Hey folks. I haven't seen all of the weather reports but there is some tornado action showing up in the Southeast. So far we're fine here, but it's not over yet. When the skies clear be sure and check in so we know you're okay!!

I probably won't be sleeping well tonight since the storm is set to hit around midnight or so. I rarely do when a storm like this is due. We have friends and family scattered across metro Atlanta and up the I75 corridor into TN so I worry about them, also. I understand Birmingham had a horrible lightening storm from what could be seen from their Fox affiliate tower cam.
I'm hoping and praying the storm continues to dwindle as it comes across AL toward the coast. There's been more than enough tragedy in it's wake.

I have friends in Mississippi, so I'll be hoping to hear from them soon. This side of Tennessee doesn't usually get that much action. Thanks for checking in, folks!

Round One wasn't too bad in GA, but we are expecting a worse one tonight. I hope Arkansas and Mississippi get through it unscathed, though.

Any chance of sending one to south central Texas ? It Never ever rains here anymorr, and when it does it always breaks up and goes around us. And if it does it only lasts about 20 minutes.

I'd send some of IL's rain if I could.

As I write this, we're getting slammed with heavy, HEAVY rain (and next to Seattle, Mobile is the wettest city in the nation). Our street is ankle deep in water. But we're okay.

I'm ok... I actually got caught driving through it all from Memphis to St. Louis. One of the more scary drives in my lifetime...
