Resin confusion

I am so confused! I always thought that when modding with resin you should be in a well ventilated area and not to inhale it's dust. Then I was watching a Let's Play for Uncharted 2 and they actually light it on fire. I looked up on wiki which says resin can be used for incense.



So in short can someone explain what the difference between BJD resin and incense resin is in lame man's terms.

Doll resin is plastic.
Incense resin is plant material, I think.

Incense resin is tree or plant sap.

Something tells me that burning a resin doll would not result in the pleasant aroma of incense. I could be wrong though....
