I've never attempted re-rooting - I'm still trying to attempt a very basic face-up - so I'm quite curious about the process. I think it would be nice to see what personality would come out with a paint job; the hair already makes it look very different from her origin doll, and, IDK, but it seems like it's got a bit of a smile on it.
I managed to get her done in one evening, so it wasn't HARD but it's also not a very simple task to begin with. I think. If you've never rerooted before it's something that seems daunting, but can become mindless work in front of a video playing once you get the hang of it. In the beginning I used to fuss over any strand of missed hair. Now, I'm like "If you didn't make it in the first time then you ain't going in at all!" There's a bunch of rerooting tutorial's floating around here somewhere I'd recommend looking at.
There is a bit of a smile in her sculpt that got lost in the whiteness (I swear I will update the quality of that photo). She's probably gonna float around for a bit before I decide what to do. When I found the cord unraveling my first thought was "drop what you're doing and root a doll with an AFRO. NOW." After that I'm just clueless.
