My only suggestion for something like the jump rope would be to use a ribbon with wire in it then you can get a better arc out of it. You should go forward with the circus idea and have a tightrope, trapeze, and ropes and poles to swing from.

I know i want to do the Obitsu based dolls to do the trapeze act .

Awesome! This looks like so much fun to do...and I really love jump-roping Ryu...I could almost hear the girls chanting one of those jumping rhymes. XD

Definitely you need to do the trapeze act -- maybe some high-wire balancing too!
