My Little Monsters

I forgot to put in that I have started collecting Monster High dolls in my bio. :? Anyway, I have managed to collect a few. They are strangely addictive little monsters once you have the first one. Franky Stein is my favorite of them, and so far I have four of her. I have several Draculara's but plan to change their hair and skintone to make fae's out of them.

Ghoula: I currently have two of her. She's wearing a dress I drafted the pattern for. Tricky bodies to draft for.

I have others but currently do not have pictures of them. My Little Monster Crew is growing by leaps and bounds. I really do need to get a group shot of them.

I promise I'm not trying to spam here but it wouldn't let me post all of them in one post.

Yes, teach us! And share the monster LURVE!! We like spamming dolliehs here! And your monsters are great - love all the fun new clothes! I made the mistake of saying I didn't really like the MH dolls, so of course I now own five of them! Three Lagoona, Jinafire, and Rochelle Goyle. They are so cute!

I might have to try the eyelet lace dress, that's a great idea :)

Thank you all. I don't actually have a pattern for the Spider dress that Ghoula is wearing in the second pic. That was drafted by sight only and cute directly from the fabric. However I do have the pattern for the petal dress.

I cut mine from a synthetic material so all I had to do for the bottom hem was use a little heat to melt it slightly. It kept it from getting stiff and not draping right. If you use a natural fabric you can add a 1/4 hem line to hem it, or use fabric glue and skip the hem altogether.

The Eyelet dress was a fun make. I picked apart the large eyelet lace and gathered more of it before reattaching the right amount of bias tape (waist) to it to make the skirt fuller. The top is just two narrower strips of eyelet lace sewn on with some of it sewn together under the arms. A simple dress to make really. I can post a tut on it later.

Thanks for sharing! I haven't tried sewing for MH yet (my clothing skills are, uhm, minimal) but the petal dress is something I will eventually have to try. Love the dark red one Ghoulia's wearing.

And yes, once you start buying MH, you have unleashed the Monster Horde. :) No matter how you try, you can't resist 'one of those, one of those and _just_ one of those'.

Yeah, that is true. I only wanted the Frankie ones as I and a Frankenstein fan, but some how the others snuck in on me.

The petal dress is easy. If you can straight stitch ( also called a running stitch or back stitch) you should have no trouble with this pattern. I designed it just for that one. The only thing is you have to do a one stich pleat on the bust pieces to make them curve around the breast.
