Dollieh Sanctuary

A long while back I decided that it was time to reshell my beloved little ghost boy, Thomas. He was one of my first dolls and he's been with me a long time, so the decision was a bit of a tough one, but once I saw Doll Chateau's Hugh I knew I had to do it!! I'd been holding off for a while as the DC preorders have been backed up, but I happened to go to MOC the other day and saw a little Hugh IN STOCK! I pounced, ordered late Friday night and by Tuesday morning he was here!!!!!!

I know a few people have mentioned here and there how nice DC's bags are...and they weren't kidding! It's absolutely the NICEST packing pillow I've ever gotten-heavy, textured outer matieral, padded, silky lining...

He is so much prettier in person than any of the photos I've seen of this little guy!! I think I actually squeed out loud when I first saw him.
I wound up getting him with a face-up, (as that was what they had in stock lol), but he'll be getting a new more Thomas-esque one shortly. In the mean time...that's one beautiful default face-up!


And he's such a sturdy little thing-stands like a rock, has good balance, (I can almost, ALMOST get him to stand on one foot on carpet!!)

I'm SO excited that I reshelled Thomas with a DC!!!! He's so elegent and has oodles of presence now. I haven't been this enamoured with a sculpt in a long time-I love him!!!

My giant kitty was sleeping when the box opening excitement was going down. He waltzed in when I was getting ready to put everything away. Apparently, missing the excitement displeased him. He knocked over the empty packing box, gave the peanuts a sniff, looked at me...and walked very moodily away lol

I love his faceup, especially his eyes.

thanks so much everyone!!! I'm in such love with this sculpt I'll hopfully be working on his face-up and blushing sometime this week or next, (depending on weather and commissions). In the meantime, he's been snuggled up with his bear and I've been trying all sorts of clothes on him, (most fall right off his hips...but the too-big look works for him lol)
