My grandfather was an army man. After WW2 he brought these Japanese dolls home to my mother when she was really little. They're in rough shape now but they've traveled quite a lot and have been boxed for decades. The rest of the dolls she acquired while living in Germany. I didn't know I still had all of these. So anyway, yay! They're unboxed and sitting on my shelf. After I do a bit of research I'll find a way to safely clean them because they're dusty, moldy, and some of the hair is rotting off. And please translate "after I do a bit of research" to mean "some time in 2017 I might do this." hahahaha
