Volks Dollfie Dream head on Mirodoll / other resin body?

Okay, so I got both the head and the body today!
Modded some small slits into it which let the s-hook in, but I just realized that I don't have a washer!

Is there anything I could possibly use other than a washer?
Maybe eye putty or pipe cleaners in a ring?

you can use a strong wire as a temp solution. i was doing that for a bit. if you're going to use pipe cleaner, i would use a while one and wrap it several times just to be safe.

You can make a pretty good washer (for this application) by cutting one out of a tough plastic like a gallon milk jug cap or out of the flat side of a laundry detergent bottle. That sort of plastic will work fine as it is strong, flexible, not very brittle, and easy to cut with a hobby knife.
